About Us

Here is a little background information for those of you who aren't quite as familiar with either the bride or the groom...

Liz grew up in Evanston, Illinois. She graduated from Emory University where she studied psychology and swam competitively. She works for The Nielsen Company doing market research, and is also working part-time on a masters degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.

Peter grew up in North Andover, Massachusetts. He studied marketing and played soccer at Bentley University. A little over 5 years ago, Peter moved from Boston to Chicago for work (Thankfully!). Peter currently works for Siemens selling engineering software.

How We Met

We met on a soccer field in Chicago in the summer of 2004. We were both playing on a co-ed soccer team, and started dating in October - a few months after Liz joined the team. We got to know one another, and fell in love, over many soccer games, meals, drinks, walks, parties, weddings, and trips. Over the past four years we have really gotten to know not just each other, but each other's friends and family. We look forward to taking this next step with all of you who have supported us, loved us, and laughed with us throughout the years.
